Thanks for the kind words, Anakronism. I'll keep posting new photos as the 'scenery' changes.
Just for the record, I am *not* involved in the Cato project in any way. Just a nosy neighbor who's happy to see some local blight transformed into something potentially wonderful.
That and I'm anxious for some good Italian food! :) |

Thanks, Mark. The photos look really good. I can't tell you how happy I am to see the faux brick come off of the building. Now, if we could just get rid of the fake railing, this building might begin to look really good.
Sorry, I'm sort of a preservation wonk.

Hello to the developers of the new restaurant,.... can't wait!!! The illusions you have made to the concept and designs are exciting, and as a 20yr homeowner of the hood and 40yr resident of Akron I suspect it will be well received. Curious about something,....how can interested people get in touch with you about your plans and maybe positions available. I know a person who is very interested and experienced...with quite a restaraunt resume....Any info you might post here would be of great interest to the area at large. Thanks. |

so excited that construction as begun! i miss miss miss miss two amigos!!! but being a resident of HS, i HATE HATE HATE seeing these buildings go to waste. i can not wait to try some new food!!!!!. Being italian and originally from north hill, i have had Good italian so i hope it up there with all those wonderful italian places in Akron. Sorry i am typing really fast and im sure have some errors. Reading past posts on here made me laugh soooo hard :) thank you and again i am sooo excited to see this spot opening again :) |
